The Leeward/Windward property has two mid-rise buildings that are six stories each with 107 units combined, plus an Owners’ Lounge that is used for owner meetings and recreation.  It is available for owner’s use by reservation.

A large pool connects the two buildings with a large deck overlooking the Gulf.  The deck and pool area is the perfect place for enjoying the sun with a cool refreshing beverage close at hand.  Of course, there are also a few steps away… “The World’s Most Beautiful Beaches” and the Gulf of Mexico with chairs and umbrellas for relaxing close to the water along with other activities like wave runners and parasails.

Although Leeward/Windward was one of the first true condominiums built on Panama City Beach, the Board of Directors and maintenance staff keep the property in top condition.  Major capital improvements are done on well-planned schedules to protect the buildings and to keep the appearance up that can match any of the newer condominiums on the beach, while being much closer to the beach and water.

The property is part of the Edgewater Beach Resort complex and all the amenities are available to Leeward/Windward owners and guests.  These amenities include a Gulf-front restaurant, a free form lagoon pool with waterfalls, a nine-hole golf course, lighted tennis courts, and a first-class exercise facility and club house.

There is a newly remodeled full-scale convention center onsite that hosts professional groups and local banquets year round.  This facility helps to attract guests from all around the region and country that helps promote the Resort rentals and does much to increase the property values of the Leeward/Windward units.

A separate entrance is available making the gated resort easy to access.  It is somewhat removed from the hustle and bustle of the Resort but within walking distance or a short ride provided by Resort tram service.
